Precision's
Disc Scalping Screen is designed to function as both a
high-volume
material classifier and conveyor. It accomplishes this
by
using
multiple rotating shaft assemblies.
As material is fed onto these special rotating shaft assemblies, it is
conveyed, agitated and classified. The oversized material is conveyed
over the
end of the scalper screen and the acceptable material is dropped between
the factory spaced rotating discs. These shaft assemblies consist
of the shaft and
multiple discs. Consecutive shaft assemblies have discs
which interface with
each other, at a pre-set opening. |
